Letter: A good deed

Someone recently went out of their way to make my day better and I wanted that person to know I truly appreciated their effort.

I realized my driver’s license had fallen out of my pocket at some point on Wednesday. For several hours, I retraced my footsteps to all of the locations that I had been, but to no avail.

Upon returning home, I found my license in an envelope stuck in my front door. There was a note inside saying where it had been found, but no signature. I hope when it is my turn to pay it forward, I will remember that person’s kindness and follow suit. To the person who did the right thing, thank you so much for taking time out of your day to make my day better.
