Letter: Climate change awareness

by

I want people to speak up and understand the situation about climate change. Climate change is something we should all be worried about, because it affects our lives. It causes many changes for people and causes them to live in different temperatures than they already have.

I’d like to speak up and let everyone know what’s going on and how we can fix it. Climate change happens because of carbon dioxide that goes up into the atmosphere and traps heat. It’s not a good thing, because it gets mixed with other greenhouse gases.

Things that affect us from climate change are rising temperatures, air quality, extreme weather, melting glaciers and more. There could be more, worse outcomes from climate change, but it needs to stop. We all need to contribute and understand this. No one should like climate change, but we all need to know how it affects us and why it’s bad for us. A little research about climate change wouldn’t hurt – even just looking up how it might affect your communnity and what you can do to help would be great.

Thanks for understanding because even a little bit of time and effort is more valuable than none at all. Please help – speak up and get everyone to know and care.
