Letter: Plastic bag questions

Granny‘s confused: We are especially happy to trade those ugly plastic bags we were using at grocery stores for our own personal carrying containers.

Now why are we still packaging all the powdered sugar, brown sugar, noodles, rice and so forth in plastic? In my generation, we had a nice cardboard box. Yes, I’m an ancient person now, but not yet enrolled at assisted living. Also, where are the leaders of all the religious groups? Couldn’t they join forces and make a trip to our southern border so that they could be a little help to the situation there?
